कृषि वैज्ञानिक डॉ एके जैन बताते हैं कि पुआल प्रबंधन में उपयोगी कृषि यंत्र स्ट्रा बेलर का काम नई फसल बीज डालने के पहले शुरू हो जाता है। क्योंकि बीज डालने से पहले पराली निकलना आवश्यक हो जाता है। इस मशीन के माध्यम से किसान पराली को आसानी से निकाल सकते हैं। मजदूर से पराली निकालने में काफी खर्च आता है।
जबकि इस मशीन से काम भी निकल जाता है और आमदनी का जरिया भी बनता है। इस मशीन से फसल अवशेष का गांठ बनाकर उनका प्रबंधन कर दिया जाता है। गांठ बनने के बाद पराली या यूं कहें पुआल काफी दिनों तक सुरक्षित रहता है। इससे जानवर का चारा में उपयोग किया जा सकता है। इस मशीन की कीमत है। इससे स्थानांतरित करने में भी आसानी होती है। वैज्ञानिकों ने बताया कि यह मशीन कॉलेज में उपलब्ध है। किसानों को इस मशीन के माध्यम से फसल अवशेष प्रबंधन प्रबंधन की जानकारी दी जा रही है, जिससे किसान लाभान्वित हो रहे हैं।
